Cannes & The Cote d’Azur, France
Gently lapped by the Mediterranean Sea and basking in glorious sunshine, there is nowhere quite like a Cote d’Azur holiday. With the prestigious Cannes Film Festival drawing to a close at the end of May, the resort town becomes less crowded, allowing you to explore the city at a more relaxed pace. With its elegant promenade, characterful Old Town, great shopping and a superb selection of restaurants, cafes and bars, it’s the perfect base from which to discover the myriad attractions of this stunningly beautiful region. On our holidays, we’ll enjoy guided excursions to Monaco, Antibes, Nice, Grasse and St Paul de Vence, along with plenty of time to relax and enjoy the lovely city of Cannes.
Sorrento, Italy
The Sorrento Peninsula offers some of southern Italy’s most famous sights. The unique landscape of hills and valleys is adorned with scented lemon orchards and silvery olive groves, with dramatic cliff tops giving way to picturesque fishing villages. June is a fantastic time to visit Sorrento, with warm, pleasant weather, perfect for exploring the charming coastal town and enjoying guided excursions; including the incredible archaeological site of Pompeii, the stunning island of Capri and taking a boat trip along the Amalfi Coast. You can also savour the region's exquisite cuisine, like fresh seafood, handmade pasta, and the world-famous Limoncello.
